The Middle East academy of Otolaryngology will sponsor the travel of the top 50 residents from across the Middle East (including air tickets, accommodation and registration) to attend the Middle East update in Otolaryngology Conference in Dubai and present their research work. The best THREE research papers presented by residents will be entitled to receive the Bayer HealthCare Research Award.

In addition to the award the best THREE research papers presented by residents will also receive a cash prize of:

1st Prize: US$ 3000    2nd Prize: US$ 2000     3rd Prize: US$ 1000

This is a great opportunity for our young otolaryngologists in training to meet, exchange ideas and experiences.

Submission Instructions for Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions

Participant should be an ENT resident in good standing or a recent graduate (not earlier than 2010) and having good knowledge of English to present the study and to join the discussions.

The submission should contain the following:

Brief CV

Letter from the chairman of department documenting status of the applicant

Title of presentation

Abstract (limited to 100 words)

Presenter(s) identifying information (name, affiliation, address, phone, fax, email)

Resume(s) – two page maximum

Manuscript not to exceed 10 pages of double spaced text, excluding references
